Terms & Conditions

General Policy

By placing an order with Stylish Furniture, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern all purchases made through our store.


Orders

  • By placing an order, you authorize Stylish Furniture to purchase, reserve, or order the merchandise on your behalf.
  • A copy of your order or invoice will be provided for your records.
  • Orders must be completed within 15 days of the order date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • If an order remains incomplete after 15 days due to non-payment or customer inaction, the order may be canceled without refund.

Pricing & Availability

  • Prices are subject to change without notice due to manufacturer or shipping cost increases.
  • Layaway pricing is guaranteed for 30 days from the original purchase date.
  • If an item becomes unavailable, Stylish Furniture reserves the right to offer a comparable replacement, exchange, or store credit.

Layaway Policy

  • Layaway plans are available for a maximum of three (3) months.
  • Payments must be made according to the agreed schedule.
  • Failure to complete a layaway within the required timeframe may result in cancellation in accordance with these Terms.

Cancellations

  • Orders canceled within 48 hours of purchase are subject to a 15% cancellation fee.
  • Orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Special orders may not be canceled once production or processing has begun.

Returns & Refunds

  • All furniture sales are final.
  • Refunds are not available for furniture purchases or layaway orders.
  • When approved by management, store credit may be issued at the company’s sole discretion.
  • Floor samples and special-order merchandise are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are not permitted after merchandise has been delivered.
  • Special-order items and floor samples are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances.

Delivery

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased furniture will fit through all doorways, hallways, stairways, elevators, and into the intended room.
  • If delivery cannot be completed because the furniture will not fit, an adjustment fee of $150.00 per piece will apply when adjustments are possible.
  • Delivery personnel are not responsible for moving existing furniture or removing packaging materials unless specifically included in your delivery service.
  • Stylish Furniture is not responsible for cleanup or box removal following delivery.

Inspection & Damage Claims

  • Customers should inspect all merchandise upon delivery.
  • Any visible damage or shortages should be noted at the time of delivery whenever possible.
  • Written claims regarding delivery damage must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Approved damage claims will be resolved through replacement or exchange of the damaged merchandise, subject to product availability and manufacturer timelines.
  • Refunds will not be issued for delivery damage unless required by applicable law.

Pickup Orders

  • Customers picking up merchandise are responsible for inspecting all items before leaving the store.
  • Stylish Furniture is not responsible for damage occurring after merchandise has been picked up by the customer or the customer’s representative.

Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.)

  • C.O.D. orders require payment by cash or money order only.
  • Full payment must be received before merchandise is unloaded from the delivery vehicle.
  • If no authorized recipient is available at the scheduled delivery time, additional delivery fees may apply for rescheduling.

Product Availability

  • Product colors, fabrics, finishes, and dimensions may vary slightly from manufacturer images and samples.
  • Availability is subject to manufacturer inventory and shipping schedules.

Limitation of Liability

Stylish Furniture is not responsible for:

  • Cleanup after delivery.
  • Removal or disposal of packaging materials.
  • Damage occurring after successful delivery or customer pickup.
  • Delays caused by manufacturers, shipping carriers, weather, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Entire Agreement

By signing your sales invoice or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that these Terms & Conditions constitute the complete agreement between you and Stylish Furniture. No verbal statements or representations made by employees or sales representatives shall modify these Terms unless confirmed in writing by Stylish Furniture.


I also recommend adding four additional sections that most modern furniture retailers include:

  • Warranty Information (manufacturer warranties and exclusions)
  • Privacy Policy (required if you collect customer information)
  • Payment & Financing Terms (Synchrony, Acima, Progressive, etc., if offered)
  • SMS & Email Communication Consent (for order updates and marketing)

These additions will make your website more comprehensive and better aligned with current e-commerce practices.
